1) INTEREST
Send an email to support@chabla.zendesk.com stating your interest in becoming a Chabla interpreter. In the email please include the following information:
- Full name
- Address
- Phone number
- Nationality
- Level of education in Sign Language (certification etc.)
- Signed and spoken languages you are fluent in.
2) APPLICATION RECEIVED
You will shortly after receive a confirmation email from us.
3) ASSESSMENT
Once we have handled your information, we will start arranging a Skype, Facetime etc. interview between you and one of our Chabla Interpreter Assessors.
4) CONFIRMATION
Once your interview and assessment are successfully executed and reviewed, we will contact you by email. You will receive more information including your interpreter ID for downloading Chabla Interpreter App.
5) COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The payment process might be different for different countries and also depending on whether the interpreter works as a freelancer or under another company.
As a freelancer, please provide us with your tax card and bank account information for remuneration processing. If working under a local company, your employer will invoice us monthly according to your successful working hours, i.e. successful interpretations via Chabla, not including stand-by minutes.
(Note that Interpreters will follow local tax law and regulations for the payments from Chabla).
6) WELCOME TO CHABLA!
You may now begin to provide your services at Chabla according to your preferred schedule.
